how to Select

For a sweeter taste, select bananas that are a full yellow or have brown, freckled spots. For a firmer, less sweet taste, choose bananas that are a full yellow with light green tips. Select bananas that are bright and free from bruises. Stems and tips should also be intact.

Peel the skin from the banana and remove any strings. Enjoy whole, or cut into slices.

how to StoRe

Unripe bananas should be stored at room temperature. Ripe bananas should also be stored at room temperature if you plan on eating it within a couple of days. Otherwise, place the fruit in the refrigerator without any bags before they are overripe.
